Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- we now from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

The southern plains as well as a southwest and -- today unfortunately it is going to be another scorcher out across parts.

The southern plains yesterday we saw a lot of high temperatures being broken it was -- records being set.

A 111 was reached in Wichita Kansas and today -- be another scorcher out across the plains.

And even mind that we're going to be seeing some of these high temperatures into the triple -- it's not just for today but also as we head into tomorrow.

And also into Thursday and Friday across the plains states so prolonged period of time that we're just continuing to see these generally dry conditions.

And scorching hot temperatures of -- today Oklahoma City a 10907.

Over in Little Rock.

And -- 107 could be a high temperature in the city of Dallas as well of course a number of heat advisories are in effect across this region.

And also some excessive heat warnings due to how hot it's gonna be out there and how hot some of those heat -- in thousands will get as well we're expecting some of them to -- Up to a 115.

Degrees.

Otherwise as we head -- triple digits for Phoenix won a 189 over in Vegas is actually cooler and -- parts of the desert southwest and in parts of the planes just.

Very unusual.

95 where high over in Denver Colorado -- asked me how to westward San Francisco very cool 69 degrees for high temperature and a pleasant 81.

In Los Angeles we do have some moisture out across parts of basically Southern California Arizona and also the rest of the four corners region.

It's most of it is pretty isolated but some of those storms could produce some very heavy -- -- at times you could see some isolated flash flooding from some of those storms.

Otherwise Texas Oklahoma and generally in a dry sagged due to the high pressure system that's just sitting in place.

Producing those hot temperatures and -- sunshine during the daylight hours otherwise.

Westward again Wednesday -- more isolated showers across parts of the Rockies and heavier stuff during the afternoon and by Thursday morning most of the southern plains and also the last.

We'll see pretty quietly dry weather generally in place.
